At Centennial Florist, we strive to provide you with the most beautiful and freshest floral arrangements. However, due to seasonal availability, market fluctuations, and occasional supply chain issues, certain flowers may not always be available at the time of your order and therefore we may have to use our substitution policy.

To ensure that your order is fulfilled on time and with the highest quality, we may make substitutions to the original flowers requested. Please review our substitution policy below:

  1. Substitution Guidelines:

    • If a specific flower or plant is unavailable, we will substitute it with a similar flower of equal or greater value.

    • The substitute will match the color scheme, style, and overall aesthetic of the original design.

    • We will always aim for the best possible match to ensure that your arrangement looks just as beautiful as intended.

  2. Types of Substitutions:

    • If a specific flower is unavailable, we will select another flower with a similar look, color, and texture. For example:

      • Roses may be substituted with carnations or tulips.

      • Lilies may be substituted with chrysanthemums or orchids.

      • Sunflowers may be substituted with gerbera daisies.

    • If greenery is out of stock, we may replace it with a similar type of foliage.

  3. Approval for Substitutions:

    • In most cases, substitutions will be made automatically without customer approval, to ensure timely delivery of your order.

    • If a major change is necessary (e.g., if a key flower is unavailable), we may contact you for approval before making the substitution.

    • If we cannot reach you, we will proceed with the substitution of flowers that are most comparable to the original.

  4. Substitution and Pricing:

    • We will always ensure that the value of the substituted flowers is equal to or greater than the original flowers.

    • In the rare case of price differences, we will make every effort to provide a flower substitution that maintains the overall value of your arrangement.

  5. Seasonal and Regional Availability:

    • Due to the nature of floristry, certain flowers may not be available at certain times of the year. This is particularly common with seasonal flowers like peonies, tulips, or poinsettias. We will replace these with flowers that are in season and readily available.
